Solo Exhibition – Hanna Flachs 24/02 – 16/03
Hanna Flachs is an illustration artist from Germany and her work is based on digital, mixed media and painting. Her main focus lies on the spiritual connection with oneself and interdependence of human beings with nature. Therefore, most of her pieces are connected to themes such as self-love and mindfulness, climate activism and feminism.
It will be a small exhibition with 5 original pieces painted with acrylics. The originals as well as some prints will be for sale in the gallery.
Half of the artist’s income from this exhibition is donated to the Housing Now crowdfunding project by @bluetempledesigns that is at the moment building prototypes of affordable houses made of bamboo for low-income families. Please check out Blue Temple’s work, it’s amazing.

Twotma is a French artist living in Lisbon. She paints with black china ink, and her work offers a tender, absurd, romantic or sarcastic vision of people around her. Her raw and simple lines can be found in the streets of Lisbon and Paris, where she likes to leave her mark to everyone’s eyes.

Urban Sketches with Julia Da Costa – weekly event
Workshop of urban sketch and space design in the streets of Lisbon with Julia Da Costa. In this workshop you’ll learn how how draw “sur le motif” (on site). You can participate either if you have notions of perspective and architecture drawing or not ! Everyone is welcomed. If you have any disability, please let us know so we can adapt the exercise to you. Paper and some art supplies will be prepared for you but if you want to work with your own art supplies it’s fine ! You can for example bring water color, pencils…
In this workshop you will draw urban sketch, urban elements, train your perspective skills and and spend 1h30 drawing in the streets of Lisbon. In case of rain the activity will be postponed.
Julia Da Costa is a French visual artist and urban sketcher. She wrote and created various sketch books and has participated in the Rendez-vous de carnet de voyage in Clermont-Ferrand, France since 2017, one of the most important event of Urban sketch of Europe.
When : Every week on Saturday at 11 am (the first class will be on the 19th of March 2022.
